[She draws her into the story, and tempts her into his arms.]
As a little-known actress on the fringes of the industry, Sang Yi spends her days livestreaming, doing skincare, saving money, and occasionally going to auditions and events.
One day, her manager shows up with a contract and earnestly urges Sang Yi to join a celebrity-couple variety show featuring original romance dramas. The manager hints, "A powerful big shot behind the scenes specifically asked for you. You can't say no."
Sang Yi is clipping her nails, listening to the whole pitch without much interest. She casually asks, "How much are they paying?"
Her manager slaps the contract down in front of her.
Sang Yi glances at it. "...Holy crap!!"
The twenty million on the contract nearly blinds her.

When filming begins, the production team pairs Sang Yi with the award-winning actor Wen Kuang.
They agree to film a period drama scene involving wire work.
When Wen Kuang corners her against a wall, the dagger in his hand slices through her veil.
The scene is supposed to end there, but the man keeps staring at her for several seconds before lowering his eyes and kissing her on the lips.
Sang Yi: "!!"
Her face turns scarlet. She shoves him away and blurts out, "Y-You added a kissing scene without telling me!"
Wen Kuang offers a thoroughly insincere apology. "Sorry. I thought it would make the emotions feel more genuine."
The director standing nearby: "?"
You're the award-winning actor. Whatever you say goes.

For the final episode of the show, Wen Kuang takes her to his villa.
Sang Yi flops onto the leather sofa and wails that when she gets famous, she's going to buy one just like it.
The man clears his throat and speaks seriously. "Sang Yi, promise me one thing, and this seaside villa is yours."
She looks up. "What?"
Wen Kuang: "Be with me."
Sang Yi freezes for a moment. Catching sight of the cameras out of the corner of her eye, she assumes it's part of the show and smiles sweetly. "Sure!"
A week later.
Sang Yi receives a text message.
Wen Kuang: [Bring your ID and household registration booklet to the property office.]
Sang Yi: ???
Sang Yi: Holy crap!
What is going on? This isn't how the script was supposed to go!
