The Demon Queen Is an Idiot

A thousand years ago, she was the eldest daughter of an ancient family, a cold-faced but innocent little lamb. She fell in love with Lan Quan, the proprietress of a tavern, and died because of it.

A thousand years ago, she was a kindhearted princess of the demon clan. Though a demon, she rejected it from the bottom of her heart. Unable to bear treating human lives like grass, she ran away from home and refused to cultivate demonic arts. For Mu Zhanyan, she abandoned the principles she had upheld for so long and returned to become the demon queen.

A thousand years later, Mu Zhanyan had gone from an innocent little lamb to a crafty old fox who helped people only in pursuit of good karma. After reincarnating several times, she became the Mu Qiuyan of today, to whom human lives were merely a means of accumulating good karma.

A thousand years later, Lan Quan had gone from a kind and innocent demon princess to a queen who swore like a sailor at every opportunity.

The queen loves to swear. If you don’t like that, don’t read.

This story is a slow burn with lots of plot. If you like it, add it to your favorites. If you don’t, hit the back button. Even if it gives you a shock, please don’t upset the author, who has a fragile heart. Thank you.

P.S. The main point of view is Mu.
