Qin Zhou, a former top snooker player, withdrew the night before a career-defining match.
Reporter: "Do you regret missing out on a potential World Championship trophy because you were saving someone?"
Qin Zhou: "I do have regrets, but I don't regret my choice."
Reporter: "Some say you owe the country a world champion. Do you agree?"
Qin Zhou: "No. I'll train another one, this time as a coach."
A year later, Qin Zhou discovers Lu Wen, a street punk, at a shabby little pool hall.
His shots are rough and his style is wild, yet in one instant, he catches Qin Zhou's eye.
From that moment on, Qin Zhou has found his champion...
I pulled him out of the mire and brought him into my world, and he led me to the throne at the summit. -- Qin Zhou
