[DC and Marvel] An Unknown Nobody

Some pages in this notebook list not only names, but also detailed profiles of the people.

Some names have check marks beside them, some have nothing at all, and some are crumpled from being soaked with tears.

But not one of those names tells me what yours is.

She only knew that she could stay alive and avoid being driven away by the rules as long as she stayed near the people whose names were in the notebook. Why did she know that? Probably survival instinct. But why did some names leave a dull ache in her heart when she read them aloud?

On the last page of the notebook, a line was written:

Dear nameless one, don't dwell on your name. If you need one, feel free to arrange the letters of the alphabet in any order.

Here are some rules you need to know:

1. You must stay near your target to avoid being rejected by the rules. You don't want to know what happens if you're rejected.

2. Once you have won someone over, if you stop seeing them, their memories of you will disappear.

3. You must change your identity and target every five years. See the following pages for details.

4. At the end of every five-year period, you must select a target for the next one.

5. Do not attempt suicide. There are no save files to reload.

6. Live until 20xx. By then, all your problems will be resolved.

7. Stay safe.
