Death Trial

The day the world changed, Chu Ze lost his father, his younger sister, an unqualified stepmother, and his home. He clenched the little cloth doll Xiao Shiqi had pressed into his hand at the last moment, and looked at the woman's twisted face before him. For some reason, he thought of the gentle smile she'd worn in the past.

It was all a lie.

No one had ever told him the truth, even if they had done it to protect him.

Chu Ze thought about it blankly, neither angry nor sad.

He reached out and took hold of the pale severed hand floating in midair, letting it pull him into the gap between the world of the living and the underworld

If you had another chance, would you bring your sister back from the underworld?

Of course.

Chu Ze answered without hesitation, sticking his little toe out toward death.

Theme: A sense of responsibility really matters. Responsibility and love can save the world, yeah.
