Dedicated to My Little Princess [Western Fantasy]

[Blurb]

Straight-faced (utterly nonsensical) version

As the most beloved little princess of the Austian Empire, Margaret Stuart's life had three stages:

Before the age of fifteen, her father doted on her like a little princess.

After fifteen, a dragon treated her like a collectible.

At sixteen, a vampire doted on her so much that he kept her soaking in formalin???

Heart-wrenching (comedic) version

When someone asked Duke Adrian why he had fallen for a human, this was his answer:

"The first time I saw her, she looked at me as if she had seen the light. For the first time in my life, someone saw me as their salvation."

Margaret, passing by, silently quipped: She had indeed seen the light then, but it was coming through the door someone had just opened.

What does it look like when a normal person suddenly sees light in the darkness?

It hurts so much that you can barely open your eyes, and you end up squinting.
