When the Wine Wears Off

A romance story dressed up as fantasy, about the male and female leads rekindling their old love. It's mostly sweet with a little angst.

In their past lives, he loved watching her smile. Three thousand blossoms bloomed beneath the bright moon.

In this life, she can't bear to see him troubled. A hundred miles of stars might as well fade away.

That day, a fine drizzle drifted through the air, dreamlike and unreal. She leaned against his shoulder.

"Once you've drunk my Green Lotus Wine, you'll be mine. In every life, you'll be mine."

A youthful, naive romance, followed by a parting that tore them apart to the bone.

She handed the poison to the person she loved most with her own hands, then watched him fall before her eyes.

Beneath the starry night, his white robes were stained with blood, and his gaze was cold and distant.

"If there's another life, I'm afraid I'll still drink this cup of Green Lotus Wine from you."
