Clear notes ring out.
Who was abandoned by fate amid the red sands?
A mournful song trembles softly.
Who toyed with life and death in the blink of an eye?
Fading faces blur in the wind.
Ripples spread, leaving memories adrift.
Between dancing vermilion and swirling ink,
those pale-ink-colored strands of hair...
Blood blossoms wantonly on the tip of a blade.
And yet, all of this is only the beginning,
merely a prelude.
Perhaps no one understands what fate really is. Even then, they could only arrogantly assume that fate would unfold according to their plans.
There is no way to know when things first began to slip beyond anyone’s control, or when it became impossible to return to the starting point. Was it their own decision, the meeting of two people, or had everything already been decided long before, at the very moment they were born? It was a bond stretching from a thousand years ago to the present.
But whether the fate they spoke of was ordained by heaven or secretly arranged by someone, no one could know before it all began. Once everything was in motion, no one could stop it.
No matter where the future led, no matter what it held, the power to choose was not theirs. All we can do is bear witness to the past, the present, and the future.
Those bound by fate will gather in the end, and the towering waves they raise will eventually subside. When that day comes, who will lift the blade of slaughter and stain it with the blood of sin?
Those with the blood of slaughter flowing through their veins cannot see the light of the future, yet they still fight according to their hearts.
The veil has yet to be lifted from the one truly controlling the game, but the curtain has already fallen on the prelude to the dark night. The darkness before dawn is the deepest abyss. Can they make it through?
The name they abandoned is their final bond. Who was the first to speak it, deep in the fractured memories: the name of the soul?
What will the cursed power bring? What will become of the seventh person, whose good and evil are yet unknown?
Enjoy it. This is the last moment of peace.
P.S.
In the first few chapters, the heroine is rather “timid”
and very cautious about how she lives.
She’s also quite serious.
Starting in chapter three, she gains considerable power.
A little further on, the story begins to turn everything upside down.
It’s not so serious anymore.
Actually, by then the heroine isn’t serious at all.
Her personality is a little twisted.
Another P.S.
The heroine really isn’t perfect.
The truly fatal flaw in her abilities will be revealed around chapter seventeen
(or even later, much later).
Honestly, it really isn’t serious! It isn’t!!!
I mean it!!!!!
(You can ignore the RP line in the one-sentence intro and the RP passage in the blurb.)
