The Daily Struggles of a Fortune Teller

All so she could hold her fate and future in her own hands. After her soul transmigrated to another world, Wen Su discovered that the unfamiliar dynasty called Great Zhou had prospered for nearly eight hundred years. In the modern world, people had dismissed her as a charlatan and fraud. From the streets to the imperial palace, from toddlers to the elderly, men and women of all ages were obsessed with the study of divination. Great Zhou even had Mingwei Academy, an institution separate from ordinary academies, devoted to dream interpretation, character analysis, fortune-telling, and divination... She discovered that Great Zhou had no beggars or refugees. The court had established dedicated homes to care for the elderly, children, widows, and orphans. She also discovered that Great Zhou had an inhumane law: any commoner woman who remained unmarried at twenty-five would be forcibly matched with a husband. Wen Su, now an obscure orphan at an aid shelter, was instantly thrown into a panic. Fortunately, even women could shine in Great Zhou. This is an unapologetically feel-good power fantasy. The heroine is shrewd and practical, with charisma through the roof. It's a light, illogical, fictional setting. Please go easy on the historical nitpicking.
