An old book from 2015, and a particularly awful one. A revenge story about a girl who plays dumb, set in the Qin Dynasty. She walks along the edge of a blade, though that is nothing special, because everyone is walking along the edge of a blade. Some people stop along the way, and they probably make up the larger share. That's the best part of a revenge game: let them die first, so you don't have to make every step hurt so much! Scheming at every turn, a body ravaged by illness, reckless wrongdoing, and hitting rock bottom again and again. This trash from 2015 can only be revised so much.
