Running Sunflowers

I'm truly, truly grateful to all my wonderful readers. I couldn't resist coming online to take a look just now. Seeing that someone had sent me a gift was so moving. I really, really want to thank every one of you!!!! Ah, but I'm not going to update this story for now. Please don't leave comments or send gifts anymore, either. This story, or rather, I myself, don't deserve them. Really.

First, I've realized that my writing skills really aren't good enough. I can't tell this kind of story well. I rashly started writing it back then with nothing but an idea and an outline I was making up as I went. I'm truly, truly sorry to all of you. But I won't abandon it, I won't, I won't. Even if I have to wait until college or until I start working, I will finish it. I want to wait until I know how to tell a story well before writing it. I don't want to hastily slap together an ending, and I hope you'll forgive the stupid things this clueless high school girl did. But I don't want to muddle through and finish it just for the sake of finishing.

That's the one thing I refuse to compromise on. A lot of people told me to change the blurb and the title, so I did. It seemed to attract more readers. But the story had lost its original purpose, and that made me sad. So for now, I'm going to work on my writing and practice. When I can tell this story well, I'll tell it. But it'll take a long time, possibly years. If you want to wait, please do. If not, you can just drop the story. I was wrong to start writing without thinking it through. As I wrote, I became dissatisfied with it. Some readers also said my writing sounded a lot like Wu Zhe's. I'm worried new writers might accuse me of plagiarism. Maybe I've been copying too much and lost my own voice. I don't want that, so I'm going to stop here for now. Otherwise, I'll keep going further off track.
