#What If Harry Had an Older Brother#

A few things to know before reading:
1. Many events from the original are included, though lots of details have changed and the plot has only been altered a little. So the pace will be very slow.
2. Suggestions are welcome. Feel free to criticize, as long as you keep it clean. I don't mind elaborate sarcasm. You can bring up other books or characters for comparison, too. Comparisons show us where we can improve. (I'm out of things to read, and I'd like to read them too. My first Harry Potter fanfic was Harry Potter and Tracy. It had plenty of original character details, but it was still pretty good.)
3. There are no aristocrats or Slytherin's God of Sexiness here. (To clarify: Snape will be just like he is in the original, with no beautification at all. He won't resemble the movie version. He'll have a sallow complexion and spit, and he'll be a morally gray character. If that bothers you, don't read.)
4. I'll try not to glorify or vilify anyone.
I think every author has a different reason for writing. Some want to fill in what's missing, while others love a particular character. As for me, I just want to explore the magical world through my own character, and see the places Rowling didn't describe in detail. (And give Harry a little care, too. He's adorable, really.)
As for updates, I thought I could manage one chapter a week, but it turns out I can't. I'll write when I'm on vacation, and not when I'm busy.
Theme: There should be pure brotherly love. That's perfectly reasonable.
In fact, Salazar Slytherin started to talk about blood... But the era was different. In the Middle Ages, wizards were brutally persecuted, and countless people who were not actually wizards were also beheaded by wizards and executed in various ways (this can be seen in the experience of Esmeralda in Notre Dame de Paris). Using Muggle-born wizards to find wizard gathering places and catch them all was very similar to what the Vatican would do at that time. It was normal for Slytherin not to trust Muggle-born wizards. Meeting such a teacher when I was a child was really... I really don't blame Neville and the others for not learning potions well... To say the least, even if there was a reason to target Harry, it was because James and Lily's son hated him and targeted him. What did the other students do wrong... Snape's reputation for being partial didn't start when Harry was in school () When Harry was a twin in first year? Who has said that Snape favors Slytherin?
