New story: A Villain's Guide to Self-Rescue, with a satisfying, feel-good storyline!

As the ultimate boss in a game, Xie Yan has been dying over and over in the game ever since he became self-aware. He has watched helplessly as the plot led to his death at other people's hands hundreds of times, and he is furious about it.

After being killed yet again, his resentment reaches its peak, causing turmoil across the entire server and nearly destroying the game world. Then someone claiming to be the "System" comes to him.

Xie Yan: You mean I have to transmigrate into all those villains doomed to die tragically?

System: That's right. Stop them from meeting their tragic fates.

Xie Yan: ...I've already died tragically eight hundred times myself. How am I supposed to worry about anyone else?

System: If you save them successfully and accumulate enough merit, you can break free from the game's control.

Xie Yan: Can I save them however I want?

System: ...As long as you don't do anything wicked.

Much later, the System looks at Xie Yan, who has accumulated a mountain of merit, and sobs: Please, mighty one, transmigrate one more time!

Yuan Zhe is a renowned online comic artist. Every day, all he does is draw and play games.

Then he meets a like-minded top player in a game. They fight side by side, and gradually develop... feelings for each other.

Yuan Zhe hesitates, then agrees.

Yuan Zhe gets fired up as they farm.

Top player: Want to visit the Matchmaker Temple together?

Yuan Zhe: Sure.

When Yuan Zhe finally makes the first move and asks, "Want to meet in person?"

Top player: ...No.

The other person has carefully woven a web, and Yuan Zhe willingly walks right into it.

A cool, proud comic artist bottom x a top who secretly keeps tabs on him and can't flirt, so he just comes on strong

Reader's guide:

1. Set in a fictional modern world where same-sex marriage is legal. This isn't a game novel, just a sweet romance disguised as one.

2. I've never played an online game, so please point out any bugs. But if something can't be changed because it affects the plot, just pretend you didn't notice.

3. Writing isn't easy. I welcome criticism, but not malicious insults, mockery, or other attacks.
