Wild in July

From the impulsive recklessness of a rookie trainee teacher

To the calm grace she finds when she starts her own school

Along with learning and growing, she still has memories and love to thank

In the seventh month, the crickets are in the fields; in the ninth, they are by the door; in the tenth, they crawl beneath my bed.

I am July, in the fields and by the door, among all things and the passage of time.

Happy ending, female lead, a growth manual for a naive girl who acts on impulse
