P.S. The story opens in the world of Hunter, but the protagonist first went through the world of Claymore before arriving in Hunter. The Claymore setting won’t affect your reading, and there won’t be any more events set in the Claymore world. If you haven’t read Claymore, that’s fine. All you need to know is that the Organization creates humanoid weapons who are half human and half monster, with blond hair and silver eyes. They wield gigantic swords, which is why they’re called Claymores or Silver-Eyed Witches. Well, that said, I highly recommend the Claymore anime. It’s not very popular and it isn’t long, but it’s truly an excellent work. Some people say the male lead is basically just there to fill space. That’s a little exaggerated, but somehow it fits, haha. Claymore is a true anime for women: its conflicts are more intense and gripping than those in the magical-girl genre (except Madoka ╮(╯3╰)╭), and it’s more passionate and thought-provoking than romance anime. Its worldbuilding is even more complete and carefully constructed than newer anime like Attack on Titan and Tokyo Ghoul. It’s worth watching. And! The male and female leads, as well as the supporting cast, are all gorgeous! Handsome men and beautiful women. How about it? Tempted? Then come on over~
