The novel is also titled "You Should Know the Heavens' Secrets"
A new fortune-teller has arrived in the capital. He set up a pole, hung a piece of white cloth from it, and put up a sign.
It read: "I can understand the past and present, and see the future."
He had clear, handsome features and looked like a spring flower at dawn, even three parts more beautiful than a woman.
And yet he chose to become a wretched fortune-teller.
Everyone is at least a little afraid of ghosts and demons.
They say some have tongues three feet long; others have their hair hanging over their faces and their mouths stuffed with chaff.
They also say some cut out people's hearts and drink their blood.
So many of them wander the world from one lifetime to the next, yet humanity has never seen them.
About the leads:
He is always a fortune-teller, while she has had countless identities.
Yet no matter how many years pass, she always encounters him smiling at her.
"We've met again."
Reading guide:
1. Ghosts and demons appear, but it's not scary. Safe for late-night reading.
2. The romance between the leads ties together many episodic stories.
3. The male lead has lived a long time. The two are entangled across lifetimes.
4. Feel free to throw bricks, but don't pick fights on purpose.
The author is terrible at writing blurbs. You're welcome to give the story a try. A deep bow.
