Judge

We still don't know that the underworld we saw that day was this shockingly real!

After accidentally offending the esteemed Judge, I was sentenced to wait ten thousand years before reincarnation. As luck would have it, I was assigned to serve under him, so all I could do was suck up to him and bring him tea and water. But the Judge wasn't satisfied, and punished me by sending me off to farm alone in the middle of nowhere.

What a miserable afterlife.

One day, a mirror told me that I was actually Yama, and should be his boss.

What goes around comes around.

So, Your Honor, how about giving me a massage first?

"Then get on the bed," he said expressionlessly.

This shares a setting with I'm a Ghost, but the two stories are unrelated in terms of plot.

A lighthearted, sweet little story with a lot of worldbuilding and a fast pace. It could easily be expanded into a 100,000-word novel...

Poker-faced, scheming, lovesick judge x friendly young man who loves to complain
