Ling Qiqi's Comeback

A fake artsy, fresh-and-clean blurb:

When colorful clouds fall in love with the bright moon, they willingly set aside their own selves and bathe in their beloved's radiance. When a shooting star falls for the earth, it will even plunge to its death for a moment of closeness. But... crash! What falls from the sky isn't necessarily a shooting star. It could be a person, a living, breathing person...

Now for the proper blurb:

Want to be emperor? There are a few ways to do it:

A. Have an emperor for a father, wait until he dies, then beat your brothers in the struggle for the throne and receive the people's acclaim.

B. If your fists are big enough, raise an army, overthrow the throne, and enjoy the life of an emperor.

C. If you have neither of those, wash up and go to sleep. Maybe you can dream of becoming emperor.

But how did Ling Qiqi become emperor? First, his father was a prince born to a concubine, not even eligible to become heir. Then he found himself another father, someone with a distant connection to the emperor: a eunuch from the previous dynasty. Finally, he impersonated someone else and claimed a father who was a fallen emperor from the previous dynasty, a man who begged and pleaded for him to become emperor.

Reading guide:

1. One-on-one romance, happy ending.

2. The protagonist spends eight years pretending to be a woman, thinking he's clever enough to fool everyone.

3. Other people's lives have ups and downs. Ling Qiqi has been on a roller coaster since the day he was born, and neither he nor anyone else knows what will happen next.

4. Noble young clansman, orphan of a troubled age, princess, supreme emperor. Think that life path sounds pretty smooth? Think again.

Friendly warning: It's already weird enough that this unlucky emperor is the bottom, but he also faints at the color yellow...

If the names of the characters in this story happen to match those of the authors you follow, it definitely isn't a coincidence. It's the author's mischievous sense of humor, from one sheep that got chewed down to the last scrap.
