Joyful Longing

The Song family had three daughters. The eldest was dazzlingly beautiful, the second was pure and lively, and the third... no one had ever seen the third. Song Mingyue had been frail and cold-natured since childhood, and could see things ordinary people couldn't. After being so frightened as a child that she was bedridden for three months, she never set foot outside her home again. Then, in the year she came of age, a group of ghosts appeared from who knows where. They said she was kindhearted and always willing to help ghosts, and begged her to find their bodies and give them proper burials. On that trip, Song Mingyue caught the attention of a lecherous, money-grubbing crown prince. Luckily, the kindhearted Fifth Prince, Wei Qingfeng, pleaded on her behalf. Wei Qingfeng knew the old man planned to find him a wife: the daughter of the Minister of Personnel. He intended to go take a look first. At the very least, he wanted someone he could stand the sight of. Who knew that on his first visit, he'd run into an unusual young woman, circling around his soul. In the end, she asked, "How did you die? How come your corpse is so clean?" ...He'd just finished bathing, so of course he was clean! [Reading Guide] 1. This is a fictional setting. Titles and forms of address are all made up. 2. Qingfeng and Mingyue marry first and fall in love later. There's also a secondary couple, a young lord and a maid. Their social standing is unequal, so if that bothers you, please don't read. 3. Mingyue has no golden finger and isn't particularly clever. Maybe Qingfeng likes her simply because she's his type, hahaha. Theme: I hope everyone can help others in whatever way they can.
