Sean Kanaf was living a normal college life when his grandmother's car accident brought him back to his childhood hometown of Smallville.
At a school reunion, his elementary school classmates had changed beyond recognition. Sean mistook one of them for a tourist who had wandered in, and found himself attracted to him. He thought they would never meet again, but then the man showed up at Sean's dinner table as his neighbor.
This was definitely Sean's last peaceful summer vacation.
After school started, life-threatening crises, hostage-taking by criminals, a new college life, and visitors from all over the world bombarded Sean one after another, leaving him completely overwhelmed.
Sean: Wait, let me catch my breath. Wasn't my character supposed to be an ordinary rich guy?
A few things to note:
1. Original male protagonist, paired with Superman. This is a work of imagination.
2. The characterization may be a little off. If there are discrepancies, consider it an alternate interpretation.
3. The plot is a slow burn. Add this silly author's story to your favorites and read it once there's a backlog.

Shi Cheng was bound to a World Peace System and tasked with playing the male protagonist's unattainable first love, becoming a tool for the male and female leads in a melodramatic romance.
The plot began ten years early. The young male lead was still caught up in a fight over the family fortune and had no interest in romance.
Shi Cheng was so anxious he was at his wit's end. He took a running leap straight into the male lead's dreams and whispered sweet nothings in his ear every day:
"Hey, handsome, could you put your career ambitions on hold for a bit? I'm kind of in a hurry here. Could you squeeze me in and love me for five minutes?"
In the dream, Shi Cheng and the male lead acted out romantic scenarios.
In the Middle Ages, they were a king and his minister, suspicious of one another.
In ancient times, they were a young master injured in a fall and his wife, forced into an arranged marriage. Their devotion to each other through thick and thin led to love over time.
In the interstellar era, they were a general and his adjutant, whose relationship was not blessed by their families. Together, they admired the most dazzling fireworks in the universe.
After hearing Shi Cheng's sweet nothings day after day, the male lead was finally moved and lowered his proud head.
Shi Cheng asked the System, "Do dreams reflect a person's true thoughts?"
System: "Yes. Everything in real life is reflected in dreams. Dreams don't lie."
Shi Cheng was overjoyed. Pointing at the male lead, who had turned into a teddy bear and was clinging to him, refusing to leave, he said, "Then I must have succeeded in winning him over."
System: "Of course! Now you just need to return to the real world and fake your death to bring the story to a satisfying conclusion and complete this mission!"
The male lead, furious, jolted awake in the middle of the night. He couldn't believe the person he loved wanted to run away from him, and instantly turned dark:
"I won't allow it. Even if you run to the ends of the earth, I'll tie you up and drag you back!"
P.S. I fix typos from time to time, and old chapters may be refreshed occasionally.

Title: Making a Fortune with the Ghost King
Blurb:
Zong Yi came from a small town and just wanted to earn enough to get by. By a twist of fate, he inherited his grandfather's ghost-catching agency, along with a bonus: a contract binding him to the Ghost King.
Thrown in at the deep end, Zong Yi used his grandfather's tricks of deception and bluster to complete a job and earn his first meal.
When he tried the same trick again, the Ghost King demanded an exorbitant price: a feast in reward for doing Zong Yi's work.
Zong Yi: "Um, Your Majesty... please go easy on me. Don't order anything too expensive. Would you like barbecue, hot pot, or a tabletop hot pot?"
The Ghost King snorted. "Don't try to fool me. Your grandfather gave me some good food before."
Just as Zong Yi was begging the Ghost King not to make things difficult for him, the other man said, "I want the special food your grandfather used to offer me, made with his family's traditional recipes! That stuff you buy outside is far too crude!"
Zong Yi said respectfully, "Please tell me what you'd like, Your Majesty."
The Ghost King scratched his chin. "What was his master's name again? I think it was Kang... I forgot. If your grandfather knew how, you definitely know too. Go find it for me, quick!"
Zong Yi was overjoyed and waved a hand. "You got it. I'll get right on it!"
His grandfather really was the best. This Ghost King was so easy to please.
One flavor a day, and he could keep it up without repeating a single one!
Theme:
I feel that the author can overhaul this article. After reading this article, the biggest problem is that the protagonist seems to be a marginalized person who can't do anything, even sucking things in actual combat. Secondly, I feel that the author has not finished writing a lot of things. Clark's second personality, Hermione and Ron, etc. The protagonist's super powers can obviously lead to more things... The most touching part is Clark's inner monologue when he looks at Sean's photo.
The protagonist can still swallow things, right? . . .
Crispy skin's laser eyes can also heat up his co-worker's coffee
I feel like the character is OOC
? ? ? ? Gone! !
Ah! ! ! ! Sherlock Holmes! ! ! ! ! ! !
Haha, yes, it hides merit and fame!
I need a love potion too💊
I don't agree with the person above, you always have to take your time step by step, and you can't become fat in one sitting.
