Stealing a Life

“Dream together at night, dress together at dawn; in the mirror, two blossoms bloom side by side. Step by step through the secluded chambers, singing as we go, we look just like husband and wife.”, Companion of the Fragrant Lady

I was a tiny, fated misstep in her life, a fleeting romance brought about by a thousand near misses in our previous lives.

Whether we are doomed to miss each other in every lifetime or never meet again, if there is a next life, I hope it will not be like this again.

(This is a very short story. It is my first time writing a girls' love story, and there are many things I could have done better. I hope you'll be kind.)
