The Road Ahead in Korean Entertainment

Xuan Jingya, a timid twenty-five-year-old who still had half a century ahead of her, finally found the courage to act. Unable to inherit the assets her late mother left in China, she gets help from her Chinese father and becomes a director at Pledis, parachuted into the company with money to invest. But things aren't as simple as she imagined.

After School has already lost its shine, the subunit hasn't taken off, and TVXQ's comeback results are poor. Caught between her and the local Korean factions is a boy group debut plan, and all she has waiting for her is a group of trainee kids averaging just fifteen years old. She has trainees to teach, and after After School, she'll try to bring along as many as she can. As for TVXQ, first she'll escape the power struggle among the company's executives, and then fix the bad habits left behind by Pledis's inadequate training system... The road ahead is long. She gave up an ordinary life, not only so her mother won't have to worry and be disappointed from heaven, but also so she can escape the shadow of insecurity left by her first love and secret crush, and walk her own path in life, making it brilliant and dazzling...

A career-focused female lead. Don't expect the members of TVXQ to get much page time... The older members enlisted in 2015, after all, so they'll appear for at most two years... They'll also appear in flashbacks... They'll only return after completing their military service... There is no second male lead... The female lead's mission at Pledis will probably be to save TVXQ, bring along as many After School members as she can, and raise Seventeen... This will probably be a long story ^ω^... As for how fast I'll update... Even though I graduated from high school... I'll do my best...
