Synopsis: Hou Ke only belatedly realized something was off when her grandparents started arguing over whether their future great-grandson should become a lawyer or a doctor.
Once she figured out who their great-grandson was supposed to be, she was stunned for a moment. Then she decided to go ask the child's father about it.
She put it rather tactfully: "There's a rumor that you like me."
The person who might be the child's father, however, was anything but tactful. He denied it outright: "There's no such thing."
"..." Oh.
Just as Hou Ke was so embarrassed she wanted to dig a three-bedroom apartment out of the ground with her toes, she heard the child's father say, laughter in his voice, "Because it's not a rumor. It's a fact."
