I finally settled on a title! So happy!
My writing skills are limited, and this is stream-of-consciousness. I'll write whatever comes to mind, so don't expect it to stand up to scrutiny. I'll write however I like, and you can read however you like. If you can't get through it, click the X in the upper-right corner. If it happens to catch your eye, scroll down and keep reading.
My regular job is usually busy, and when things get hectic, I can be swamped day and night. Sometimes I suddenly disappear for a week or two, so I'm sorry in advance.
This story is probably, maybe, possibly a slow burn. Is there a plot? As I write, even I don't know why they have so much going on.
Terrified beyond words, Zhao Mosong was pulled into a warm embrace.
The newcomer was spattered with blood. His bloodstained face and cold gaze softened into a smile when he looked at her, and he gently comforted her: "Don't cry. I'll take you home."
That smile sank into the eyes of Zhao Mosong, who had just turned three, and straight into her heart.
That year, Zhao Mosong was eighteen and being forced to marry. Along with her wedding invitation, she sent a letter to Jiang Yongzhi, who was stationed far away at the border. It contained only a few words: "A civil official will give up his life for duty, and a general will give up his life for loyalty. I would give up my life only for love."
Pulled back into that warm embrace once more, Zhao Mosong felt utterly at ease.
Jiang Yongzhi looked at the groom in his scarlet wedding robes and chuckled. "This is my girl."
The age difference between the two heroines is too big, right?
Has the Little White Rabbit heroine appeared?
Long time no see, welcome back!!!!
