This is a story of countless encounters, promises, and reunions with him. In the movie, the Buddha says, “Only by experiencing suffering can one understand that all living beings suffer.”
To me, he is the tiny speck of desire that keeps me from entering the monastery, the source of my thousand-lifetime tribulation of love. I am like a disciple possessed by the devil, sinking into it, unable to comprehend the sutra no matter how long I live.
