For details on the print edition, see Weibo @Jinjiang An Zhiruomian A new novel of the same type, *Protect Our Meow Meow Cult*, is now underway. After being reborn, Bai Youyou, a lovely pedigree cat, had one great wish: to be taken home and spoiled by a kind, handsome owner. But she never expected to be so lucky that she’d end up being taken in by a devastatingly handsome young movie star. One day, Lu Hanzhi stared coldly at the unfamiliar young woman in front of him. “Where’s my cat?” Bai Youyou pointed at herself. “I am your cat!” Lu Hanzhi picked up the phone and dialed 110. “Police? A thief here stole my cat.” Bai Youyou’s expression instantly turned icy. She looked ready to butcher a kitten and said menacingly, “Fine. If you really let the police take me away, you’ll never see your cat again!” “You really are my cat?” Bai Youyou scoffed. “Believe it or not.” Lu Hanzhi reached out and stroked her chin. “Let me hear you meow.” Bai Youyou meowed without thinking. Then she froze. Lu Hanzhi: I believe you. One day later, a reporter interviewed Lu Hanzhi. “Mr. Lu, may I ask what your plans are for the near future?” Lu Hanzhi: “I have some.” The reporter perked up. “A movie or a TV drama? Or perhaps something romantic?” Lu Hanzhi: “Going home to feed my cat.” Reporter: “…” Looks like the movie star is a cat lover, too. Reader’s Guide: 1.
