O Divine One, Make Him Love Me

Novel Blurb

+++++++At Qin Yuwei’s funeral,

Everyone kept telling Sheng Rui, “He loved you so much.”

Sheng Rui became the richest woman in Lincheng. Her friends invited her to Dubai for two weeks, just as they always had, saying there were countless handsome men and wild parties waiting for her. Sheng Rui turned them down. As usual, she pushed open the door to the villa at dawn and said, “Qin Yuwei, I have a headache.”

The only reply was a yellowed letter blown in by the cold wind.

To my beloved A Rui.

“Truth is, I was born with strong desires. I’ve loved fighting since I was a kid, and I swear a lot. I’m no refined gentleman. I lived for over thirty years, and I would’ve taken this secret to my grave, because I was afraid you’d look down on me, hate me, and leave me... But I’m good at pretending, and I know I’m not good enough for you. Still, I love you very much.”

He loved her, so he pretended to be a perfect gentleman, then pressured her into marrying him.

Sheng Rui woke from the pain. Lying in her hospital bed, she saw that the wrist she had supposedly slashed was completely unharmed. On the big cabinet TV, an ad saying “Celebrate the Olympics” was still playing.

This time, she found Qin Yuwei before they ever met.

Sheng Rui stopped him, a bruise on his face, and stared at him with burning determination. “I want to be your girlfriend!”

The boy with dyed blond hair flicked his cigarette ash and grinned wickedly. “Sure. I’ve never dated a rich heiress before. Hey, you got money?”

Seventeen-year-old Qin Yuwei was just as the letter had described: he loved fighting and swearing, a rebellious bad boy.

But that was okay. She’d found him first.

Later, two legends emerged at Lincheng No. 1 High School.

The well-behaved daughter of the Sheng family turned into a wild-haired girl chasing after Qin Yuwei, while the bad boy, shaken into changing his ways, worked hard and got into Jincheng University with his girlfriend.

You, stubborn and headstrong, and me, obsessive and single-minded.

“Hey, I have a secret to tell you.”

“I’ve loved you for a long, long time...”
