This is a little story about people chasing the smile of fate, happening somewhere in the world.
I'm reopening an old project to make a dream come true. I love the road-movie feel of these three installments best: a journey full of laughter and tears, with strangers who feel more like family. So I scrapped the whole thing and rewrote it, cutting the overly complicated and dark, grim original characters, and trying to write a down-to-earth journey.
This story follows two protagonists, a pair of sisters, joining the journey. The sisters have very different personalities, and I've added a measured amount of romance aimed at female readers. Writing two female leads is a challenging setup, but it might make their rescues more plausible. I love them too much to leave any of the six out.
This story is based on the fan game The Seventh Stand User, but you can read it just fine even if you haven't played the game. The game's appeal goes far beyond what's mentioned in the story. It even has a complete original storyline, and Stands better suited for redemption. But that's what I insisted on back then. (sigh)
