The Saniwa goes out on every sortie with the team and only returns when someone is gravely wounded. Unless necessary, he doesn't speed up repairs.

The Saniwa thinks swords should have the resolve befitting swords.

Besides, fighting for one's lord and battling until the very moment one is gravely wounded is exactly in keeping with the Bushido spirit that Japan admires, isn't it?
