The Little Palace Maid's Inner Thoughts Cause a Shura Field

Luo Jin transmigrated into a novel as a palace maid serving the villainous princess. The princess brought about her own downfall, and Luo Jin was doomed to share her fate. As she tried to figure out how to survive, she saw the Second Prince happily rushing over to tell the princess that the woman he loved had finally returned his feelings, and that he was going to ask for her hand in marriage. Luo Jin grumbled inwardly: Guess why she's suddenly being so nice to you? She's pregnant and looking for a sucker to take the blame! She's carrying the child of the enemy nation's crown prince, and sooner or later she'll betray you and get you killed! The princess: ??? The Second Prince: ??? One after another, the powerful figures discovered that if they earned Luo Jin's favor, they could briefly hear her thoughts. As luck would have it, she was also a miser. Before setting out on a campaign, the great general came to see Luo Jin and tossed her the huge gold chain he thought was "a real burden." Luo Jin: The general's grain transport officer is corrupt. He feeds the soldiers moldy rice, giving them all food poisoning and ruining the military's timing. The first thing the general did after setting out was investigate the transport officer. He had him executed in public to steady the troops' morale, and sure enough, he returned victorious. The Crown Prince was sent to provide disaster relief. Before leaving, he gave Luo Jin his beloved vase, which he thought was "too ugly." Luo Jin: This vase really is ugly... but it looks valuable. Come to think of it, the Crown Prince is going to meet a beauty being bullied by thugs on the road. She's actually a spy sent by the enemy nation. He'll play the hero and get himself into huge trouble! Sure enough, the Crown Prince came across a beauty being harassed by villains on the road. She cried and begged him to save her. The Crown Prince watched with a beaming smile from the sidelines, and even brought over a little stool. The beauty-spy: ??? Later, enemy spies falsely accused Luo Jin of being involved in a murder, and the matter was brought before the emperor. The emperor asked her, "Where were you when the crime took place? Is there anyone who can vouch for you?" Several high-ranking officials of the court answered in unison: "This humble official / your son can vouch for her!" The emperor: ??? The spy: ??? Luo Jin was touched. "I know you all mean well, but at the time, I was in the back garden watching a bunch of monkeys fight for an hour..." To prevent them from coordinating their stories, the emperor had everyone separately write down what they had been doing at the time. The officials' answers were astonishingly consistent: They had been pretending to be monkeys and fighting in the back garden. The emperor: I'm done... The other officials and the spy: 6 Luo Jin remembered that this novel was supposed to be the heroine's romantic free-for-all. How come now it seemed like... everyone was chasing after her? What would the heroine think? The heroine: I want to take Luo Jin home too, but I can't outcompete that certain someone. How infuriating! Core theme: People have many sides. See who is truly sincere before making a decision.
