The Girl from the Eastern Neighbor

When Ban Si woke up, she found a new memory in her mind. It belonged to someone from the future, two thousand years from now. Well, according to the person from the future, the owner of the memory had planned to take over her body and transmigrate into it, but Ban Si accidentally pinned them down and killed them. She was pleased to learn that her good name would still be remembered more than two thousand years later. But she was not pleased to find that this good name had been earned by a hypocrite. Maid: My lady, Doctor Song and the King of Chu say you watched him from over the wall for three years, but he remained unmoved and still hasn't agreed to be with you. Ban Si: Hah, who's Doctor Song? Maid: My lady, have you forgotten? The righteous gentleman Song who used to live next door! He's the most handsome man in all seven states now! Ban Si: Oh, that sanctimonious pretty boy. He clearly lusts after beauty, yet puts on a show of being above it. [Inspired by] "The young lady of the eastern house: powder would make her too pale, rouge too red. Her brows were like kingfisher feathers, her skin like snow; her waist like a band of silk, her teeth like rows of shells. One smile could entrance Yangcheng and bewitch Xiacai. And yet this woman has watched me from over the wall for three years, and I still have not granted her my favor." From Rhapsody on a Lecher by Song Yu This is an idea-driven work. Historical research is exhausting, so the setting is fictional, in a parallel world, and I will try to keep it close to the era.
