A note from Huashang:

I've always liked Xue Qinghe (Qian Renxue) while reading the Douluo Dalu novel and manga, so I've always wanted to write a fanfic just for the two of them.

What if Xue Qinghe had never been replaced by Qian Renxue, but had grown into a graceful young man? What if Qian Renxue were no longer bound by Spirit Hall, and instead grew into a peerless young woman?

Though different, they are so alike.

What sparks will fly when two parallel lines that should never have crossed meet?

This idea has been circling in my mind for a long time, and that's how this novel came about.

(1) I may bash the members of Shrek Academy. The male and female leads are impossibly perfect! Read at your own risk if that's not your thing. (While reading the original, I always thought Yu Xiaogang was too cowardly. He kept wavering between Liu Erlong and Bibi Dong, leaving both women hurt, so I really dislike him.)

(2) I'm a student, so updates will be irregular. I'll try to write more during the holidays, but I will never abandon this story!!!
