The god asked smugly, “Want to transmigrate?”
Resting her chin in her hand, she replied lazily, “No.”
“No?” Dust billowed as he sprang up, utterly shocked. So many women wanted to travel to a matriarchal world, yet she did not.
She stifled a yawn. “What’s in it for me?”
“Plenty,” the god said with a confident smile.
Her eyes were nearly closed. She gave a faint hum and said indifferently, “Let’s hear it.”
There was little of anything in the twenty-first century, but there was no shortage of women who went for bad boys. First, tempt her with handsome men. The god eagerly offered, “Lots of hot guys. You can have one on each arm.”
She glanced up, unimpressed. “Pretty faces are nice to look at, but I’m not that shallow.”
If she wasn’t into men, then most people loved money. Tempt her with wealth. The god wheedled, “You can make lots of money with no effort.”
She replied coolly, without a trace of emotion, “As long as I have enough, money is fine.”
She wasn’t interested in money either. What about power? Tempt her with status. The god beamed. “You’ll have a very high position.”
She nodded faintly, nearly asleep, and murmured, “High rank and great power are exhausting. You have to stay alive to enjoy them, too.”
He searched for another reason. “There’ll be lots of people who care about you.”
She said mildly, “There are lots of people who care about me here, too.”
“One last thing, and the most important: over there, there’ll be someone you care about.”
Her lashes stirred as if she were about to close her eyes, but she didn’t open them. She wondered, Who would I care about?
The god smiled. “Not denying it means you admit it.”
And so she transmigrated.
Theme:
It's a one-word story. The male protagonist who yearns for freedom has lost his memory, so the female protagonist sends him home in order to free him. Don't you think the logic is weird?
Awesome, I'm still moved no matter how many times I watch it
It\'s pretty good. Like it
Huahuahuahuahuahuahua
After reading it, I really like the one-on-one story about the heroine
Good article, such a special woman who is superior to men, and I really like the one-on-one relationship
Not bad, the perspective is very special. It's worth seeing
After reading it for a few days, I finally finished it. Good article. . . .
I like the warm female character of 1vs1~take away the bird
What a great article. I shed tears several times while reading it.
I like the male protagonist very much. He has such courage. On the other hand, in the ancient world where men were dominant, how many women dared to do this?
The heroine is also very commendable. Maybe it's just because of modern concepts, but it's more about her inner persistence. She had many opportunities to marry the beautiful servant, but she refused because of the persistence in her heart.
Good article
