She is the only princess of the demon race, destined to become its future empress. Born superior to others, in her previous life she loved someone she could never have, and grew old alone. Now that they have met again in this life, she tells herself that no matter what it takes, even if the whole world despises her, she will bravely love him one more time.
He is an ordinary young man, yet possesses tremendous power. Born destined to stand above all others, in his previous life he was bound by a marriage contract, blinding himself to what was truly in his heart, and ultimately missing out on the person he loved most. In this life, he tells himself that even if he must stand against the entire world, he will love her without hesitation.
When two people carrying memories of their previous lives meet again, are they destined to join hands and conquer the world, or will they miss each other once more?
(Note: Please ignore the blurb. I just wrote it for fun, and the actual story is eighty percent different from it.)
This story is dedicated solely to the Sheng-Luo pairing. I started writing it because I, LL, suddenly got an idea. Of course, it may also be the result of my being unable to accept the TV plot for a while, so please don't judge this story by the plot of the novel or the TV series. (I haven't read the novel from beginning to end.) I'll ignore you, so believe me. Just look into my earnest, big eyes.
Some parts of this story may follow and adapt the TV plot, but if you suddenly find that the story no longer matches the show, don't be surprised, and please don't tell me. You only need to believe one thing: LL has already dropped the TV series, and everything that happens from then on is the product of my imagination.
Although LL is used to writing angsty stories, please believe me, this one really isn't angsty. And please believe me that Luoluo in this story absolutely won't be like the lively but too timid to love girl in the TV series. Here, Luoluo dares to love and hate, and dares to take responsibility, just as a demon princess should. As for the male lead, well, I don't like writing male leads who are physically disabled but determined, so Changsheng Guoguo will be doing just fine in this story, better than fine.
In short, it's a story where the disciple is devious, the master even more so; the disciple's abilities defy the heavens, while the master's are downright monstrous; the disciple loves his master, and the master loves his disciple even more. A story of being doted on exclusively.
Changsheng-gege will also shed the tragic Lin Daiyu-like constitution he has in the TV series, where he keeps fainting and gets framed and thrown in jail at every turn. In this story, he'll transform into a character with monstrously powerful abilities. After all, only a master with monstrous abilities can teach a disciple whose abilities defy the heavens. (So what if I gave my Changsheng Guo a golden finger? Are you going to bite me? Can you even reach me? [Taunting face])
Some original characters will appear in this story. Of course, LL won't deliberately villainize anyone. Even Jun Qiushan from the TV series will absolutely be a good young man with impeccable roots. (How can I be spoiling things before the story has even started? Can you pretend you didn't see that?)
Of course, there are no absolute villains in LL's stories. Everyone has their own unavoidable hardships. After all, who is born evil? (That said, there'll definitely be a rebellion. Otherwise, why would I be writing this?)
