For those who are longing for fluff and a happy ending, and as always, EC.
No God-blowing, really:
Awoo, ever since I got into The Phantom of the Opera after seeing it in Toronto two years ago, I've been looking for Phantom fanfiction to heal my broken girlish heart. As a proper Chinese girl whose native language is Chinese, naturally I looked on Chinese websites first. My first choice for fanfiction was Jinjiang, but sadly, aside from The Phantom of the Opera Mask, there wasn't a single well-written fic about the real Christine and Erik. And that one was abandoned...
Of course, Jinjiang does have some very good Erik fics, such as Fatal Aesthetics (I've reread the commissioned edition so many times!). But as a girl who firmly believes in one-on-one romance and the just-world fallacy, I always want Erik's devotion to Christine in the original story to be rewarded, for the lovers to end up together, and for them to finally kick Raoul to the curb (don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Raoul) and live happily ever after. So you can't imagine how moved I was when I gritted my teeth and decided to search in English, only to find one EC fic after another on FanFiction.Net!
I was practically in tears.
After reading a few, I couldn't resist coming over to write a recommendation. After all, even though there are so many fanfics, every author has a slightly different interpretation of Erik and Christine. Given the original characterization, Christine is kind and gentle, but because of my own values, I don't like versions of Christine who are timid and weak. So the authors I recommend all write Christine as stronger. Only a Christine like that could possibly overcome every obstacle to be with Erik, and only then would she be worthy of him in the eyes of readers.
So these are the Christine and Erik fics I'm recommending: both characters have plenty of personality, and they support and depend on each other. They make you feel that they deserve a happy life.
Recommended to see it in large numbers Author: The Phantom of the Opera and the Devil's Beauty who stir-fried the cucumber
Can you send me the article directly? Really can't find it woo woo woo
Hahaha, the author is so cute. To be honest, Jinjiang's original Phantom novel is so shocking that it scares me. Thank you very much for your recommendation.
