How Could I Not Know What You Mean?

It turns out the two of them had a brief entanglement and an unspoken spark when they were young. As misunderstandings are cleared up, they start over and draw closer, surrounded by growing flirtation, until it finally erupts into a sweet romance. Qi Shi’an is an all-round senior dealmaker skilled in martial arts, diving, and finance. Shen Duoyi is a handsome, kind, highly intelligent senior actuary with exceptional abilities. Two top students, a handsome top and a sweet bottom, both very rich. The blurb from eight hundred years ago: Shen Duoyi’s parents died in an accident when he was little, and from then on he relied on his grandfather. In his teens, he worked his way through school and ended up as a server at an entertainment venue. There, by chance, he met Qi Shi’an, who was already visiting the place as a teenager. Because of a misunderstanding, Shen Duoyi thought he was no respectable person, while Qi Shi’an thought he could win him over just by giving him money. When they meet again, it feels as if mountains and rivers lie between them. Qi Shi’an sits in the senior partner’s office in a perfectly tailored suit, radiating respectability. Shen Duoyi has shed his youthful awkwardness and taken on the look of a polished white-collar professional. They become coworkers, one senior to the other, gradually discovering each other’s hidden strengths and flaws, taking root in each other’s minds and hearts as memories resurface and new flirtation begins.
