The vampire Shi Liming slept for eight thousand years. When he woke, he discovered that the world of magic had merged with the human world, and that this was an age of interstellar technology built on magic.

Ex: I've waited eight thousand years for you to wake up. I have to explain what happened with that human woman back then.

A rough outline of the world:

1. In the ancient Earth era, the magical world and its nonhuman races kept apart from humanity. They were revealed during the Ascension Era, triggering a great war. Afterward, magic and the nonhuman races became part of human life. Even though humans still make up the majority in the interstellar era, bloodlines are no longer pure.

2. Nonhuman races include vampires, werewolves, and the like. Purebloods are extremely rare in the interstellar era, especially vampires. Their pride has brought them to the brink of extinction.

3. Please read this as pure nonsense. Interstellar technology is all powered by magic.

Reading Guide:

1. One-on-one romance: Shi Liming and Jin Nuo. The top/bottom roles are undecided. The story is primarily told from Shi Liming's perspective, and they have mutual crushes early on.

2. Two magic enthusiasts: a top student with no magical ability and mixed ancestry, and a wild, academically hopeless vampire with magical potential. They have an age gap, and it is enormous.

Now updating: The Underworld Port of Entry Inspection Department

To maintain order in the human world, the Daoist sect decides to establish an inspection department at the border crossing between the underworld and the human world. Every monster that wants to visit the human world must pass inspection and carry a permit. The process is as strict as the second border crossing between North and South Korea.

But new problems keep cropping up. What, the headless ghost lost the new head he bought in the human world in the waiting room?! The Japanese ghost Sadako fell in love with a human and gave birth to a little Sadako in the human world? The rules clearly say you can't leave any "personal organs" behind, got that? A kid broke the wine bottle of Shuten Doji, and now he's crying and refusing to go home? Bone Demon, could you please stop stuffing contraband into your skeleton to smuggle it through the scanner?
