"This world is wonderful."

"I mean it."

[Stubborn, old-fashioned feudal forces]

After all, aside from the ninja, the world really is developing at a breakneck pace. People's standard of living keeps improving, science and technology are making rapid progress, and medical care is gradually becoming more organized. Nobles and commoners alike are working toward better lives, and they all have bright futures ahead of them.

The president of Shueisha, the Land of Fire's largest trading company, died of illness. His young, beautiful widow came to the ninja village carrying a small bundle. At the time, the Third Hokage was a widower and Danzo was single, making this the perfect place for an ambitious widow to make her way.

The widow dabbed at the corner of her mouth. "Look on the bright side, Hiruzen has students, at least."

He thought he was comforting the widow, but ended up in her pond of fish.

"Uchiha... Uchiha Madara? Lord? Oh, of course I know that famous ninja! I even saw him at the village-founding ceremony. What do I think of him? You're so annoying, Monkey. Hmm... Lord Madara... He looks like he'd be very good at having kids."

"Huh? Monkey?!"

A first-year ninja academy student makes a shocking remark! The whole of Konoha is in an uproar!
