Back when the Li family was flourishing, Li Wancheng dazzled everyone with a performance of Farewell by the Waters.
People praised her without end, saying that as an actress, Li Wancheng was second to none. But no one knew what Li Wancheng herself thought of this original opera.
The Li family's Three Wonders: wondrous feelings, wondrous performances, and a wondrous person. Back then, the Xue and Li families were evenly matched. It was only a few years before the Li family fell, and the new rains of Yangcheng washed away every trace of old friends and bygone days. Now, only the First Wonder is known to the world.
