As the call for world peace fills the mortal realm, the world of the immortals keeps up with the times, too. Jiu Li is sent to Asgard as an exchange ambassador to study the cultural differences between Eastern and Western deities firsthand.
Comrade Jiu Li diligently keeps a journal and writes a summary every day.
Day One: Tried the exotic state banquet. The wine was cold and harsh, and there were few dishes but plenty of meat. The fish was a little more gamey than back home, but still delicious.
Day Two: Acquired a bird of unknown species. Simmered it over low heat and tried it. Savory and delicious, with tender meat.
Day Ten: There is a rabbit called Swiftwind. Its flavor is mild. Best sliced and roasted, then dipped in sesame oil mixed with crispy fried chili flakes.
Day Twenty: Couldn't find any new ingredients. Annoying. I'm done writing.
Until one day, Asgard's big hammer slapped his thigh, breaking into a cold sweat.
"Come on, let's go see Earth!"
