The Eunuchs Around Here Must Have Something Wrong with Their Heads

Our chief eunuch must have something wrong with his head.

Zipei hid behind a rockery, watching the eunuchs lined up in front of her with their backs turned, and muttered to herself.

She greatly admired Eunuch Shao, who served at the Emperor's side. In fact, she admired him so much she could hardly find the words to describe it.

Just look at him. He had all the wisdom needed to stay out of trouble, and used it to climb step by step to the most coveted position beside the Emperor. Yet at the very last moment, he tried to rebel.

The night was filled with chaos, then at last fell silent beneath the blades. Hiding beneath a corpse, Zipei peeked at the chief eunuch and discovered that, this time, he was staring straight at her too. Then he opened his mouth and said:

"I like you."

Ah, it seemed the chief eunuch really did have something wrong with his head!

* The heroine is a not-stupid-but-clumsy palace maid, and the story opens with her being reborn. The hero is a real eunuch, and he has liked her from the very start.

* It's sweet and fluffy all the way through, with a light plot that doesn't involve politics or palace intrigue. It's just a slice-of-life story about the leads after they get together, updated as things unfold.

* I wanted to read stories about palace maids and eunuchs, but couldn't find any that fit, so I had to write one myself.

* The author really can't write a lively, cute blurb, but trust me, this really is a sweet romance! 120% sweet!
