[Crossover] The Light Catcher

Echizen Ryoma, male, twenty-two years old, is currently the hottest four-time Grand Slam champion in the tennis world. After finishing the last Grand Slam of the year at the US Open, he chose to retire at the height of his glory. With a hefty prize purse in hand, he returned to Japan, where his dream began, to figure out how to plan his life now that he had achieved it. But on his very first night at the inn, something completely unexpected happened. Outside the inn, in a damp, muddy, chilly alley after the rain, a scene both strange and familiar played out once again. I found her again, he thought. At last, he had caught the moonlight in the sky once more. Reader's Guide 1. The male lead is an adult Echizen Ryoma, a four-time Grand Slam champion. The female lead was once a legendary figure in the business world. A warm, healing story. 2. Realistic setting, with no superpowers, fairies, ghosts, or dramatic life in another world. Everyone is ordinary. 3. This story does not share a timeline with The Great Family. In this timeline, when Akashi Seijuro was sixteen, he did not tell Akashi Masaomi that he wanted to be with Asakawa Kiko, so Akashi Masaomi gave up on proposing a marriage alliance to the Asakawa family. Likewise, in The Great Family timeline, Asakawa Kiko was never kidnapped and therefore never met Echizen Ryoma.
