Requiem

Beneath the moonlight, the girl in plain white smiled faintly:

Love? Over such a long stretch of time, it is the least real thing there is. But if you want it, I'll ask for it on your behalf.

“You love me! You said you love me, and you can't take it back! Even if I grow tired of you and abandon you, you still aren't allowed to stop loving me!”

“In this life, I see only you. I smile only for you, dote only on you, and follow only you.”

“I'll break your wings, tear apart your flesh and bones, and devour you bite by bite. Then I'll be you, and you'll be me. We'll never be apart again... We were one to begin with...”

“You gave me this life, my talents and skills, and taught me my nature. This life exists only because of you.”

The girl lowered her eyes, her expression compassionate yet cold:

“Look, that is nothing but blind obsession.”
