[Dream of the Red Chamber] The Imperial Merchant, Shi

When I was eight, I almost died at the Jia estate. I never expected to be saved by a fool claiming to be the Jinjiang Boys' Love System, who then made me livestream our life on a schedule. I think it’s an idiot, hopelessly sick in the head, and a serious invasion of my privacy, my shop employees’ privacy, and my boss’s privacy. But I did as it said anyway. It saved my life, after all. And when you tip me, I can redeem rewards, too. In my naïveté, I thought I could livestream my life in Dream of the Red Chamber, complete the tasks, and then get on with my life. I could even livestream how I became the richest man in the empire and lived happily ever after, face-slapping the Jia family along the way. I never expected that one day I’d meet a little rascal. He said he wanted to woo me. And then... Those tips you’re sending aren’t just deep-water torpedoes or shallow-water bombs. They’re my life, do you hear me! Don’t ask which generation I’m from. Even the stone lions at the Eastern Estate don’t know. (Mysterious smile.) Original scheming, secretly powerful top X initially clueless, later shrewd imperial merchant bottom Coming soon: Cat CEO. My CEO is a bit of a rascal. He keeps turning into a cat to bully me. Gu Jiang has four cats: a blue British Shorthair boy, a poor little Fold, a Bombay black panther, and a Chinese village cat. His daily life consists of cooking and feeding the cats, earning money to support them, and occasionally taking on freelance jobs. But one day, a new cat suddenly appeared at home. This cat stole Gu Jiang’s wine, ate his ornamental fish, slept in his bed, and secretly took pictures of him while he slept. Gu Jiang: ...How am I supposed to put up with this? Believe me, I’ll chop you to pieces! I’ve already raised my forty-meter blade! CEO Cat: Meow... Gu Jiang was utterly defeated.
