The Three-and-a-Half Demons of Maple Leaf Valley

Three half-demons live in Maple Valley. The villagers at the foot of the mountain are used to calling them Great-Aunties. There is a ginseng tree in Maple Valley that bears fruit once every five years. When it does, the village chief chooses ten villagers to enter the valley and receive the fruit. Each person gets one ginseng fruit, which cures all illnesses and extends one's lifespan. It is common for five generations of a family to live together in Maple Village.
