Lu Xiaofeng + Jian Wang 3: Ink on Green Lotus

Half a page of parting sorrow, half a life of folly.

One brushstroke captures a lifetime of wild abandon.

Green cliffs sing of dew; where immortals leave their traces, flowers return by boat and compose long songs in the valley.

Those who abandoned the old ways and changed their path have fallen silent. The flower among men is seen no more.

During the An Lushan Rebellion, the Wolf Fang Army burned every living thing in Myriad Flower Valley.

Wan Hua Gu perished in the valley's Sunny Sea of Flowers at that time.

Then, when she opened her eyes again, a thousand years had passed.

A thousand years later, the former glory of the Tang Dynasty had long since faded, leaving not a trace.

Myriad Flower Valley, Seven Elegance Ward, and Long Song all fell into ruin after the wars, and now no one knows of them.

Not even the official histories or unofficial accounts mention a single word about the people and events of those days.
