After years of separation and resentment, I believe they will meet again someday. When I shattered the barrier of time, I saw them embrace tightly for the first time, and ink and gold came together to form a poem.
I saw fragments of time swirling around them, glowing a deep blue.
"I won't give up on you."
"But this world has already killed me."
"Goodbye, my beloved brother. Live on with your great ambition. Make this land I love more glorious, and let light shine upon him. I cannot destroy him."
"And now, goodbye. I have always... loved you."
"No, you're still so... so young!"
Loki didn't see him holding back his grief, but he heard the sorrowful sobs of someone who could destroy the world.
He closed his eyes forever.
The golden-haired God of Thunder knelt on the ground, his most beloved brother in his arms.
He was the last king of Asgard besides him, and the person he loved most.
(A sweet little tragic short story.)
