[The Xue Family] A Member of the Xue Family in Dream of the Red Chamber

When I opened my eyes, everything around me looked hazy and antique. A clear voice rang by my ear: "Young master, you're up early today." My mind was flooded with jumbled memories: Father, Mother, my older brother, my younger sister... A wave of warmth welled up inside me. A cold, aloof man in a position of power had transmigrated into Dream of the Red Chamber, becoming Xue Chi, the second young master of the Xue family, a character who had never appeared in the original story. Chi means a hornless dragon in ancient Chinese. Everything I had never known in my previous life, I now had: family, friendship... and that man. This is the Xue family's rebirth, a story about the second young master of the Xue family leading his family step by step toward the heart of the imperial court, while falling into a love-hate relationship with a man. That man is truly no good, and he really is devious. Yet Xue Chi is all too happy to go along with it. "Chi, I'm not a good man, but I will never let you down, and you will always be the only one for me." Xue Chi was drunk, lost in the moment. PS: The top and bottom haven't been decided. I'll leave it to you all to decide. There may be a golden finger.

There isn't much about officialdom; the story still centers on family life. Sorry to anyone who was disappointed. The scenery and character descriptions are from Baidu. Xiao Zi especially likes Baochai, so she may get quite a bit of page time. This story uses the broad setting of Dream of the Red Chamber, but the details are different. The characters and their ages have been changed considerably, and there are many original characters. Some characters are based on people identified by numbers. Age setup: Xue Pan and Xue Chi are twin brothers, four years older than Baochai. The whole Xue family and Lin Meimei will be happy. Lin Meimei's love interest is not Baoyu.
