Smoky Voice

The versatile actor Gu Liang is invited to appear on an idol-training show, only to spot Wei Mingcheng among the contestants: the lead singer who left their group years ago. His once clear, bright voice is gone, replaced by a raspy voice that seems to have sung its way through a lifetime of hardship. Wei Mingcheng used up all the courage he had in his life on the night he left. He slept with his own captain, thinking they'd never meet again. He never expected that five years later, he'd be standing onstage, staring wide-eyed at Gu Liang in the judges' seats. A powerful entertainment-industry top and a gentle, hard-working bottom with a raspy voice. A rekindled romance.
