The Langya Prequel

Top of the Langya List, Mei Changsu of Jiangzuo. Too much wisdom brings pain; deep love brings a short life. Unrivaled beneath heaven, Grand Preceptor Yuwen. May his demon eyes never die, and may the Sui family never fall. If two people from different eras, with different fates and no connection whatsoever, became one, would the Grand Preceptor still be so lonely at the top? Would Mei Changsu still be so obsessed, so unable to let go, and so careless of his own life? Note: I haven't read the novel; everything is based on the TV series. The protagonist is the pursuer, with no romantic pairing. The story takes place before Changsu enters Jinling. P.S. I wasn't planning to write “A Disaster from the Sky,” so I'll post this old Langya Bang fanfic instead. It won't be paywalled or submitted to any rankings. If it's not your thing, feel free to close the page. Please forgive any shortcomings.
